Jun Ko
Born in Seoul, South Korea and raised on the east coast, Jun is a Brooklyn based artist and tattooist.
Former art instructor turned fineline tattoo artist, Jun has had an affinity for the interdisciplinary arts since early childhood. She received her BFA from The Cooper Union and has navigated through a diverse range of art making and conceptual practice.
The process of tattooing is a deeply interpersonal and collaborative experience that Jun applies to each of her clients and projects. She mainly focuses on custom works by taking individual ideas and turning them into tactile pieces within her personal style.
