Born in Beijing, Kaci came stateside when she was 5 years old. She has always loved drawing for as long as she can remember, but her undergraduate degree is actually in ecology & wildlife biology. While remaining heavily interested in environmentalism & conservation, she sought out a way to bridge her two worlds together in a more creative way.
Most of her art & tattoo inspiration is drawn from wildlife, nature etc. She loves when her tattoos look like scientific illustrations, like something you would find in a textbook. Bridging these two worlds together has allowed her to currently specialize in black & grey, as well as fine line tattooing. But, Kaci is excited to continue to grow in her work and branch out to new styles and techniques!
